I found these flowers to be hauntingly beautiful. They are mini scultures of flowers rooted in sand. When you come into the room they are all black, but if you walk to the other side they change to color.
I can't even imagine the amount of time and patience it would take to make a whole field of them.
The artist, Zadok Ben David, also did this other interesting piece I like called "Train Ride". I don't even pretend to understand the frying pan part but the story is very captivating and sad.
